Type 100 Flight Watch “Toki”
Wind the mainspring when used as a pocket watch; it winds automatically when worn as a wristwatch. It marks the passage of time. A mechanical model designed to let you “feel” the passage of time.
A reissue of the Type 100 Flight Watch used by the Imperial Japanese Army in the 1940s. The kanji character for “time” (時) is engraved at the 12 o’clock position on the dial, while the text “One Wind Per Day” and “Flight Watch” at the 6 o’clock position have been faithfully reproduced. The only difference from the original is the curved finish applied to the dial to give it a three-dimensional appearance. The teardrop-shaped hands add a subtle touch of charm to the design.
We have fitted this pocket watch with a specialized case, creating a timepiece that can be enjoyed as either a wristwatch or a pocket watch. (Design registered)
